| Well its been a while so I thought Id catch everyone up.Things are ok right now. Jess and I celebrate our four year anniversary this weekend, lots of fun romantic things planned and work is ok. Still waiting tables at John Knox during the day and doing Petco at night and on the weekends. Hoping to find a better day job cause retired people aren't the best tippers . But other than that things are going well. Hopefully Ill be enrolled in a career school writing program soon and Im hoping to save enough dough to go away this summer. I have nearly 270 hours worth of paid time off at Petco and im ready to start using it. If anyone has any suggestions or comments you know where to find me. Till then peace love and the crap that goes with it to all.O and if you haven't been watching American Idol start we have a Kansas Citian in the top 5! So watch and vote his name is David Cook and he's amazing. God bless to all and See you all soon. Matt | | |
| Back to the Grindstone Hello Xanga! And Happy Holidays to all. Well after some time I have come to a command decision. I need to look for another job. Im happy at Petco but without a second income money's getting tighter and tighter. The time off (I got fired from Wendy's in August), has been awesome. Im sleeping later, relaxing more and getting to see more of my family and friends but unfortunately money doesn't grow on trees. Between rent, utilities and stuff for the new house. On top of that Im 7 years removed from my last doctor visit and currently uninsured. I also have some major car repair to due and dentists visits needed. Needless to say I'm going to have to go back to double duty if I'm going to make any of this happen. Hopefully with a raise from Petco I won't need to work more than 20-25 hours a week but we will see.So wish me luck in the search cause after the holidays I'll be back to my workaholic ways.Hopefully this time it wont have to be for so long. Talk to you all later.Happy Holidays and God Bless. Matt | | |
| Hey xanga people just writing to check in and tell everyone how its going in my world. Jess and I are still together and doing well. Im loving having my own place. I have cleaning to do now but it's still exciting. Work is ok too coming up on the 3 year mark at Petco. Im sharing leadership of the fish dept. with a co-worker and due for a raise by december. I'm also looking into an online degree for freelance writing so wish me luck.Thats all from Mattville so take care and happy holidays for those I dont see. Matt | | |
